Congratulations to the committee for finding this new venue and it proved out to be almost perfect, the right venue nowadays, is extremely hard to find well done. Most important of all the exhibitors, thanks for the excellent entry. Also big thanks to my 2 stewards. Kay Aspin & Paul Sutcliffe.
I had a mixture to go over, as you would expect, some overweight, wrong bite, some with, teeth missing, various sizes, but there were several very nice bitches. There was also a few quality bitch’s whom I have admired from the ringside, but just lacked that little bit of sparkle on the day. But on the plus side, I had a very nice line up, I could have easily handed out 6 C.C. the quality, is there.
Minor Puppy Bitch (2)
1st Halifax, Seastaff Polar Force. Predominately white, with brown eye patch, 1st time in ring, St/front, round brown eyes, nice bend of stifle, level back on the move, should have a very nice show ring future. B.P.Bitch
2nd Harrison, Seabird Abyss. Red, with dark brown eyes, pleasant head. Still very much a baby & full of fun.
Puppy Bitch (20, 1)
1st Wall & Webb, Hammystaff Hot to Trot for Manark. What a class of puppy bitches good luck to all in future shows all full of the, joys of spring, Red & white. Good h/piece, round eyes, square front, moved very nicely.
2nd Summerfield, Canakey Sambucas Racemosa. This was a very close decision, between the 1st. Again, red & white, nice head, good bite, neat ears, moved and handled very nicely.
3rd Martinez, Princess Say Whot Dazzler
Junior Bitch (13, 2)
1st McGowan & Owen, Tagstane Fuchsia Struck, what a very attractive nice girl. Brindle. Great head,
Defined stop, dark round eyes, compact body, in athletic fit condition, moved and handled well. C.C potential.
2nd Sem & Ullaflaen, Celunas Do Wah Diddy. D/ brindle. Strong head, straight front, stood four square, good bite, level back on the moved. Moved and handled well.
3rd Campbell, Tagstane Dangerous Delight.
Yearling Bitch (9, 1)
1ST Moody’s, Moodystaff Skye’s the Limit. Split decision here. Dark brindle, another very nice bitch, Straight Front, round eyes, level back on the move, in very good condition.
2nd Davies, Sebsonic Shinealight at Stormbull JW, Dark brindle, who has similar qualities to the winner, pleasing head, round eyes, straight front, good body shape. Found it very hard to separate these two.
3rd Martinez, Lady Esla Gunner Nassemat de Silverstaff
Maiden Bitch (6, 1)
1ST Woollett, Wall & Webb, Manark Temptress. Dark brindle, pleasant head, short stop, decent girl, short coupled, moved OK.
2nd Rogers, Ginstean Absolute Epitome of Ynystaff, Dark brindle, puppy, clean front, short back, again a close decision.
3rd Matthews & Patrick , Howfenstaff Paddy’s Girl at Paljaz

2nd Crowther, Pendlestaff Padme. Brindle, with strong head, good front, nice body, moved and handled well.

A class of quality excellent bitch’s, this is a Star bitch, dark brindle, well balanced, St/front, round eyes, good h/piece, good spring of ribs, well angulated rear end, coat in lovely condition. Level back on the move, showed expertly. CC & Reserve Best in Show. Definitely more CC’s, to come, what a Star.
2nd Mason, Dare to Dream. D/brindle. Another stunning bitch, who excels in all departments, front, cracking head, correct bite, good ribcage, moved & handled well R.C.C.
(Wish I had another CC, to hand out).
3rd Norton, Pendlestaff Brindle Babe at Tikkurilan
Open Bitch (17)
1st Funnell, Kewaunee Pocahontas for Powerpack JW. Another excellent class of bitch’s. This is a very nice, dark brindle girl, straight front, good head piece, short coupled, in excellent athletic condition, yes very nice. She was definitely a contender for C.C, s.
2nd Hopkins, Ch Trufflestaff Monifa Kanika. Quality Ch. B/Brindle. Pleasant head, short coupled body. Just felt she was not really interested today, just lacked that wee bit of sparkle.
3rd Frankland, Aldwych Tiger Lily.
Veteran Bitch (16, 11)
1st Norton Stormpike Cleopatra of Tikkurilan. A real pleasure to judge this class, strong head, B/brindle, Straight front, short coupled, moved very nicely.
2nd Norton, Ch Tikkurilan Ticka Teboo. Another nice b/brindle, good head piece, level back, good bend of stifle, moved also very nicely.
3rd O’Donohue, Exquisite Ebony Lady, may I comment on this old girl, who reminded me, of an old girl I had, full of character, a joy at 12 yrs. Laughing her way all around the ring, just what you would expect a S.B.T. to be in their golden years, thanks.
