Success in Holland for NW dogs.

A great result in Holland for some of our NWSBTC members at the International match and the Dutch Championship show 2016.

It began on Saturday in Tiel, Holland where this years annual show was held, about 300 Staffordshire Bull Terriers from around Europe arrived to take part in this super event. From the NW club we had 3 of our top dogs taking part in the Team UK.  They were Joemikeste Play The Game, Bellarouge Adonis at Fergiestaff and CH Eclypstaff There You Go at Kalverin. Dogs and handlers put in a fantastic performance helping Team UK to their 3rd win in as many years at this International Match.

On the Sunday came the Dutch Championship Show , again the the NW were well represented. This time 4 of our dogs were entered in different classes. Baby bitch class came first for 4-6 month old puppies. Shakastaff Shake It Up at Kalverin was first up in her very first show which was a little overwhelming for her but nervously, she did her bit, unfortunately she didn’t get placed. Next to go were the juniors, in the dog class came Bellarouge Adonis at Fergiestaff who took a commendable 4th place in a very tough junior class. Up next in the bitch class Joemikeste Play The Game jw stormed to victory in 1st place, not only did she win her class she also went to take the Reserve CAC which rounded off a great day for her and her owners. In the penultimate class of the day: Champion Bitch class,  Ch Eclypstaff There you Go at Kalverin  took 1st place in a class of 15 Champion bitches from across Europe , not at all bad after coming out of retirement of 12 months to take part in this show. Well done to the Dutch S.B.T Club for staging a great event once again and looking forward to next years event.
